Hidden Treasures - UI/UX Design
Hidden Treasures is an object finding game available for Ios devices that we created reusing some of The Monkey Pit island graphic assets.
Whilst the game genre in itself is quite straightforward, our challenge was to create a new way to experience the story of the original game that made sense with the new mechanics.
I was tasked with creating a new set of UI assets to reflect the changes and then create a trailer for the final game.

One of the last iterations of the home screen.
From this screen you can access all the features of the game. It was important for us to design it so that it could look like part of the story we were telling.
A series of early sketches.
The goal was to figure out how to approach the map and the main menu. We ended up discarding both these lines of ideas completely in favor of the more personal look of the open journal.
Planning for all case scenarios is important.
Even though this isn’t the final look, I always make sure I have a clear map of the flow of the entire game so that I don’t miss any of the possible interactions I need to create graphic for.
